Help. I Think I'm a Rockstar.

Musings of a former rockstar-in-the-making who sold out to The Man and now collects regular paychecks in corporate America and gets to eat more frequently. Views on music, travel, culture, relaxation, politics, toys, and other general bullshit.

Intercalary Updates
Friday, February 29, 2008

First off - yes, I said "intercalary". No, I don't think that makes me cool.

I've been silent in the blog department for ten days, and realized this morning that, this being a leap year, I still had one more chance for a February post. Pleh.

Since my last post, I have indeed continued my new narcissistic healthy habit of daily exercise. I did miss a couple of days when I went to Detroit last week, which sucks. I even packed the appropriate attire. But there's just something ridiculously difficult about finding the gumption to workout after a long day on planes, followed by a heavy dinner and a bit of wine with colleagues. Even still, the very fact that I picked it back up when I got home is significant improvement on previous attempts at working out.

In other news, I think I've finally decided what my next tattoo will be. Tim and I both got our first tattoos a couple of years ago in Pensacola Beach. Ever since, I've wanted another. Probably just one more. I don't need to look like this dude anytime soon. It's just a moderately small-sized combination of the Hindu lotus flower with a Sanskrit "Om" symbol on the inside. I'm all proud to have come up with myself too. Woot. Anywho, if/when I get it, I'll post pictures up.

We're off to Arkansas for the weekend. And thank goodness, too. I need a little R&R.

Currently in Memphis, Tennessee
Currently listening to Janet Jackson's New Record - Discipline

Bravo for using a word that I had to go look-up. It's a rare occasion, but it does happen sometimes - and I'm often tickled when it does.

Also, that tatto idea is R-A-D! I think I'm going to do some kind of a Buddhist theme for my next one, though I'm not sure quite what it will be yet.

Ink? I have none on my body...but that doesn't make me pure. Or does it?

It certainly does not, my dear :-)
