Help. I Think I'm a Rockstar.

Musings of a former rockstar-in-the-making who sold out to The Man and now collects regular paychecks in corporate America and gets to eat more frequently. Views on music, travel, culture, relaxation, politics, toys, and other general bullshit.

Getting a New Toy...
Thursday, January 4, 2007

After a REALLY long time of succumbing to an unnecessary societial demand for PC-use, I'm finally getting my first Mac since 1992. Its been a long time coming.

At any rate, since my three primary reasons for using a computer outside of work are web design, graphic design, and recording/producing music, its actually surprising that I didn't jump back to Macs a long time ago. They're built unbelievably creatively, and their Unix-based architecture opens up a whole new world of open source project, program and hack development opportunities. For any of you out there who aren't so geeky, that just means they're really nifty.

Now, to decide exactly what I want on it. More to come.

Currently listening to Skillet - Comatose.
